Resource helps protect workers from wildfire smoke exposure

Wildfire season in Canada comes the risk of exposure to wildfire smoke. To protect workers, a free resource is available to help employers identify and communicate potential wildfire-related hazards. The Wildfire Smoke Toolbox Talk, developed by the Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, provides information about how workers may be exposed, potential hazards, and how to reduce exposure in the workplace.  Aussi disponible en français.
