Darryl is a consultant in mine ventilation with 16 years of experience; five in a mine operations environment at Hudbay Minerals and eleven years at Hatch. He has extensive experience with the application of non-diesel mobile equipment in mining, including the Borden and Onaping Depth projects. Darryl is the mine ventilation lead on several major studies and execution projects for Glencore, Goldcorp and Rio Tinto. He is published in several peer review proceedings such as North American Mine Ventilation Society and the Australian Mine Ventilation Conference. His work also extends into the design of underground nuclear waste storage facilities, including fire scenario analysis.
