David Kelly

David Kelly is a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician with extensive experience in underground mining and heavy equipment maintenance. He currently works as a Field Service Technician with Sandvik, supporting mining operations across Northern Ontario.

David has been actively involved in occupational health and safety throughout his career. He serving on Joint Health and Safety Committees as a Certified Worker Representative. David has been an active member of Ontario Mine Rescue for over 10 years and served as a Mine Rescue Competition Team Captain from 2019-2025, with multiple district championship wins.

As a member of the Workplace Safety North Board of Directors, David is committed to promoting safe workplaces, supporting workers, and advancing health and safety initiatives across Ontario's mining sector.
