Mining First Line Supervisor Refresher

The Mining First Line Supervisor Refresher course is for mining supervisors who have completed the Underground Hard Rock, Underground Soft Rock, or Generic First Line Supervisor Common Core programs.

This course provides updated training on important topics identified by industry experts. It helps supervisors stay current on changes to legislation, new industry practices, key hazards, and safety strategies. Participants will also strengthen their knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, leadership skills, risk management, and incident investigation.

It is recommended that this course be taken every three years to stay up to date. While it’s not part of the Ministry’s modular training program, this course provides a valuable way to refresh critical skills and knowledge.
