Beyond safety in mining: What about occupational hygiene?

The science and art of industrial and occupational hygiene focuses on the identification, recognition, evaluation and control of workplace hazards and exposures. The mining industry emphasizes safety hazards, and rightfully so. This presentation will explore the various exposure hazards to chemical and biological agents, and how they can be prevented or controlled.
