Michele Gilbert

Michele Gilbert holds a post-graduate management degree and currently serves as the Learning & Development Manager for Base Metals at Vale. With an extensive career spanning 30 years, she has acquired significant expertise in the mining, infrastructure, oil and gas, and energy sectors. Her professional experience encompasses work in five different countries across four continents.

For the past 17 years, Michele has specialized in Learning and Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Indigenous Relations. While overseeing the management of training for some 7,000 employees, Michele is responsible for the delivery of health and safety, technical training and leadership development.
