Day of mourning for persons killed or injured in the workplace

Day of Mourning poster -  please download, print and share

At Workplace Safety North, we believe every worker should return home safe and healthy at the end of each work day. Tragically, some never do.

Canada’s Day of Mourning is a day to remember lives lost, and a day to resolve to make workplaces safer. The day of observance was passed into legislation by the Workers Mourning Day Act, and encourages all Canadians to remember workers killed and injured in the workplace, or as a result of occupational disease.

Please share the poster and attend an event in your area to help honour the memory of all workers who have died, were injured, or became ill from their job. By working together – we can prevent worker injuries and deaths.
