The 396-page, full-colour updated manual begins with an overview of ground support design and applications, controlled blasting techniques, scaling and quality control programs. The manual features a new chapter on risk assessment and management of ground control hazards and the addition of dynamic ground support systems. Chapters describe every type of ground support common in Ontario mines, complete with illustrations. Each chapter contains an explanation of how the system works to support the ground, material specifications and installation issues. The manual also offers a glossary and lists of additional resources.

Refund Notice and Holiday Closure Update

In response to the recent tax break for Canadians and the Working Canadians Rebate, WSN will refund the GST or HST charged on your order. For credit card payments, refunds will be processed within one business day. Please be aware that WSN's office will be closed from December 25 to January 2 (inclusive).
