Provincially approved training is available in a variety of delivery options that allow you to make the most of your time and resources. Courses range from legislated Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, to Technical Standards and Safety Authority training, to general safety courses. Note: Many public health restrictions relating to Covid 19 have been lifted in Ontario, including some that relate to the training Workplace Safety North provides. Workplace Safety North does not request information about the Covid 19 vaccination status of those who participate in training sessions. WSN cannot guarantee that people participating in the public training courses have received 2 or more doses of a Covid 19 vaccine.
Validity period extensions
Validity periods are extended for workers who were required to take refresher training for Working at Heights and Joint Health and Safety Committee between February 28 and August 31, 2020.
