Workplace Safety North hosts mental health webinars every Wednesday in October
Workplace Safety North (WSN) encourages everyone to celebrate Healthy Workplace Month by attending a free live webinar series that features four expert presentations on mental health leadership, self-care, resiliency, and empathy.
“We all know how difficult the past 18 months have been, so I highly recommend people register and take the time for their own personal growth and focus on building their healthy workplace – whether they’re working from home or have to be on the frontline during the pandemic,” says Angele Poitras, WSN Community Engagement Specialist and Psychological Health and Safety Advisor certified with the Canadian Mental Health Association.
“The series explores how your role in the workplace has the power to affect the well-being of those around you. You’ll learn more about the relationship between self-respect, self-care and leadership, explore the mental health continuum, identify the sources of resilience and the opportunities to help us bounce back, and identify steps we can all take to help stamp out the stigma around us.
“These essential mental health workshops are designed for workers, supervisors, and employers, and provide a strong foundation for each person’s workplace mental health journey,” notes Poitras.
