Health and Safety Specialists
WSN Health and Safety Specialists are located across Ontario, and have in-depth knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and how to ensure companies are in compliance with the Act and any applicable legislation.
WSN Health and Safety Specialists can also review and help with your workplace health and safety program. They are available to review your policies and procedures and point out gaps with mandatory legislation and offer advice on best practices.
WSN offers a variety of training that is relevant to all workplaces, such as: Supervisory training, Internal Responsibility System Awareness, Joint Health and Safety Committee Basic Certification (for companies with more than 20 employees), Health and Safety Representative training (for companies with fewer than 20 employees), and Musculoskeletal Prevention and Awareness.
WSN has a wide variety of audits for Ontario’s workplaces. These include physical demands analysis, pre-installation and pre-modification ergonomic reviews, and noise and dust sampling.
Health and Safety Excellence program
The WSN Health and Safety Excellence program provides Ontario businesses a clear roadmap on how to improve workplace health and safety. The Excellence program is a performance-based rebate program developed by the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), and participants can create safer workplaces, and earn both financial and non-financial rewards.
